First Impressions
If you’ve been reading our reviews you know we’re big fans of Evermore and their concentrate drops, so when I saw this batch of Purple Zushi live rosin on the menu over at Ritual Dispensary, I knew I had to secure a jar… and I’m not going to lie, because I like the Red Zushi so much I even got 2. Let’s dab some of this now, Cheers!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Purple Zushi strain is a balanced hybrid that is the result of crossing Zushi with another unknown “purple” strain. The dominant terpenes are limonene and b-caryophyllene. This batch is 9.62% in total terpenes.
Looks and Consistency
It came in the form of a beautiful, pale golden badder. The extract was incredibly wet and dripping with a glistening layer of terps. It had a perfectly creamy consistency that made it incredibly easy to manipulate.
Scent
As soon as I cracked the lid, the aroma hit me with a beautifully familiar profile, it definitely has the Zushi genetics. I could easily pick up loud, mouth-watering notes of sweet, fruity grapes and tropical fruit.
Taste
The flavor was ridiculously close to the Red Zushi that we reviewed a few months back. On the inhale, I got a mouth-coating, perfect blend of sweet and savory notes, highlighted by bright citrusy tropical fruits, juicy mangoes, and sweet grapes. As I exhaled, the fruity sweetness evolved, leaving a rich fruit flavor in my mouth.
Effects
The high didn't waste any time, hitting me almost immediately after my first pull. It rushed into my mind with a bright burst of uplifting energy and pure euphoria. As my mind lifted higher and higher, a beautifully hazy and heady sensation took over, leaving me feeling incredibly giddy and prone to fits of the giggles. It was a remarkably fun, sociable, and vibrant hybrid high that kept me fully engaged and perfectly happy for hours.
Final Thoughts
I’ve got to hand it to Evermore—they seriously outdid themselves with this live rosin. Taking a dab of this Purple Zushi was an absolute treat. It hit me right away with this goofy, giggly energy that made everything around me feel incredibly fun and vibrant. It's rare to find an extract that balances such a mouth-watering flavor with a perfectly uplifting, sociable head high, so this jar easily walked away with the Certified Stoners Stamp of Approval. Seriously, if you see this sitting in the concentrate fridge over at Ritual Dispensary, don't sleep on it!
