First Impressions
It’s been a while since we dove into the New Jersey Market and we’re really looking forward to sharing the best cannabis we can find! Glass Meadows has constantly been pushing out fire and I’ve been waiting to get my hands on it to try some out. I opted for the Cookies n Chem from NAR Cannabis in Mt. Laurel Township since its name just sounds so perfect based off the cross. This is smelling fantastic so let’s roll it up and see how it smokes… Cheers!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Cookies n Chem strain is indica dominant and the result of crossing Girl Scout Cookies and Starfighter and Stardawg. The dominant terpenes are myrcene and b-caryophyllene. This batch is 2.16% total terps.
Looks and Structure
When I pulled these buds out of the bag, they looked absolutely beautiful. The flower featured spade-shaped, minty green nugs that were completely wrapped in furry orange hairs and a thick, frosty layer of tiny, golden-amber crystal trichomes coating every single inch of the flower.
Scent
It had a massive, super sour, and citrusy punch that completely amplified those pungent chemical notes you’d expect from its Stardawg lineage. It was loud, sharp, and gave me a feeling that this was going to be a heavy hitter.
Taste
On the inhale, I got a sharp, sour, chemical taste that really coated the palate. But as I exhaled, it smoothed out beautifully into a lightly nutty and sweet vanilla finish, clearly showing off the Girl Scout Cookies side of the family.
Effects
The high on this one definitely had a creeping effect. At first, it sneaked up on my mind, lifting me into a happy, euphoric, and delightfully unfocused state. But as my mind settled into that calm, a deeply relaxing tingle started to spread throughout my entire physical form. Before I knew it, that tingle dropped me right into a heavy, sedative couch-lock. Because of how physically melting and potent it was, I used this as the perfect remedy for erasing chronic pain, stress, or just knocking out after a really long day.
Final Thoughts
Glass Meadows definitely didn't disappoint us with this drop of Cookies n Chem, we couldn’t have picked a better strain to get us back into the NJ reviews. It was incredibly potent and provided that perfect, sedative nighttime high. Cookies n Chem easily earned the Certified Stoners Stamp of Approval so next time you're at Nar Cannabis in Mt. Laurel, definitely add this to your stash for those lazy, late-night sessions!
