First Impressions
I’ve only ever seen good things said about Trout & Co, I mean they placed really high up in The Masters of Rosin event with their Guava Glaze making a statement on why NYC hash is some of the best around. When I saw Treehouse had this Strawberry Guava, I knew I had to grab a jar. Knowing that it comes from two absolute flavor powerhouses, Strawberry Banana and Papaya, my expectations for this profile is sky-high. I couldn't wait to fire up the rig and see how this one melted... Cheers!

The Strawberry Guava strain is indica dominant and the result of crossing Strawberry Banana and Papaya. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and limonene. This batch is 5.28% in total terpenes.
Looks and Consistency
A really greasy looking gorgeous, glistening pool of golden badder.
Scent
My nose was hit with a beautifully sweet and fruity strawberry aroma.. However, right underneath that bright fruitiness, there is a distinctly dank and pungent aroma coming from the jar.
Taste
On the inhale, the profile evolved perfectly, leaving behind a delicious taste of tropical fruit mixed with a subtle, spicy, and dank kick. As I exhaled, my mouth was coated with a juicy, sweet, and fruity strawberry flavor.
Effects
This high did not waste any time. The effects hit me almost as soon as I exhaled, immediately filling my brain with an expansive, lifting euphoria. But as my mind flew higher, a deeply calming body high began to heavily settle into my bones, quickly leaving me couch locked. Before long, that deep physical relaxation turned incredibly sedative. It made me wonderfully tired and heavy, completely shutting down any lingering stress from the day. Because of how intensely sleepy this high gets after that initial head rush, I exclusively use this as my ultimate night-time, put me to bed strain for when I am ready to completely check out and get a fantastic night of sleep.
Final Thoughts
I’ve had a lot of fruity rosins, but the way Trout & Co captured the essence of both parent strains here is next-level. What really sold me, though, is how insanely heavy it gets. It's rare to find an extract that tastes this bright and sweet but completely shuts down your brain and body so fast. It's firmly claimed the top spot on my nightstand as my ultimate nighttime strain. Do yourself a favor, next time you're at Treehouse, pick this up for those nights when you just want to pass out hard.
