First Impressions
Getting premium hash delivered right to the mailbox is something I don't think I'll ever get entirely used to, but SimplyMary has proven to be a highly reliable vendor for some small-batch with a great selection of strains that is always being updated. When I saw they had a Zkittlez wash available, I knew I had to try it out because Zkittlez isn’t always an easy washer and is why we tend to not see it in rosin too often. The Zkittlez strain is a balanced hybrid which is believed to be a cross between Grape Ape, Grapefruit and a third undisclosed strain.
Looks and Consistency
This Zkittlez is a beautifully clean, golden-hued badder. It had a remarkably hydrated and wet consistency, showing off a nice little layer of terps.
Scent
The nose on this wash is super candy forward with a similar smell that was almost like Fruit Loops. The moment the seal was broken, tropical fruit aromas mixed with a zesty, bright citrus that honestly made my mouth water before I even took a dab.
Taste
On the inhale, my entire mouth was coated with a wave of sweet berries and sugary, tropical fruit candies. As I exhaled, the profile evolved perfectly, leaving behind a crisp, tangy citrus. The taste wasn't as strong as the smell, but still really nice all around on this profile.
Effects
The high hit me with a really beautiful, functional balance. It started off with an uplifting, mild head buzz that sparked my creativity and left me feeling genuinely euphoric, but entirely free of any racy, anxious thoughts. Not long after, a soothing physical calm slowly worked its way down my limbs, wiping away my tension. It provided a phenomenal, relaxed body high without ever dragging me down or making me feel sluggish.
Final Thoughts
SimplyMary really treated these famous genetics with the respect they deserve. This Zkittlez rosin was the ultimate jar for me, I especially like how each jar is custom for each strain, it shows they are going the extra mile for their customers. I absolutely loved this fruit-forward dab and I’m definitely going to keep a jar of this in my personal rotation!
