First Impressions
Woah! From the second I saw how frosty these nugs are, I knew I was getting more than I expected from this bag of Garlic Fuel cultivated by Culta. I mean for Maryland recreational standards this looks like it’s some top shelf that was expertly cultivated preserving all the shimmering trichomes on these buds. Looks aren’t always everything though so lets see how this smokes…Cheers!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Garlic Fuel strain is indica dominant which leans 70/30 and is a result of crossing GMO and Jet Fuel. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and limonene. This batch is 2.73% in total terpenes.
Looks and Structure
Absolutely beautiful buds that are shining white. The bag appeal is crazy on this one and when you zoom in really gives you a good look at all the trichomes which are clear, cloudy and amber. Purple hues are mixed with dark greens and orange pistils. The buds are shaped pretty weird but are also denser than they look.
Scent
I get a heavy but slightly sweet GMO garlic smell that hits me first. Then I notice the underlying fuel smell that mixes perfectly and makes my mouth water.
Taste
The flavor is super smooth and tastes like the aroma lets off. It’s garlicky GMO on the inhale and a gassy fuel flavor on the exhale.
Effects
This Garlic Fuel hit me like a heavy indica, gravity immediately felt stronger weighing down on all my limbs. The challenge came when I started getting the munchies because I didn’t want to have to move to get any. Once my belly was satisfied, I emerged from the kitchen back to my gaming setup where I comfortably sat for a few hours grinding away. I also enjoyed the pain free nature it gave me which is always important to me.
Final Thoughts
I was super impressed with this Garlic Fuel and am extremely happy that I got it from Culta. I can’t stop admiring the trichomes because it has to be one of the most stacked nugs I’ve shot so far. It’s just as icy as all this snow we got but I’m sure glad I grabbed this before I got snowed in.
