First Impressions

I stopped by Dispensary Works recently and noticed a drop from Redemption, a brand I've never tried before but have heard of as they operate in multiple states. This fresh batch of Lemon Cherry Diesel impressed me from the beginning, with a fantastic smell and bag appeal. At the end of the day though it comes down to how it smokes, so let’s light this one up… Cheers!

Genetics and Terpenes

The Lemon Cherry Diesel strain is sativa dominant and a result of crossing Red Velvet and Lilac Breath. The dominant terpenes are limonene and b-caryophyllene. This batch is 2.92% in total terpenes.

Looks and Structure

The nugs are mainly green in color with a short, think layer of trichomes and minimal orange pistils poking out.

Scent

The nose on this one was incredibly loud and inviting. As soon as I opened the bag, I dove right into a sweet lemon cherry smell that made my mouth water. Underneath that initial burst of bright fruit, I easily detected a deep gas undertone that really flexed the Diesel side.

Taste

The flavor perfectly mirrored the aroma, delivering a really sweet flavor. On the inhale, I got hit with sharp, pungent lemon gas terpenes, which then smoothed out into the rich sweetness of cherries on the exhale. It was a beautifully complex, sweet-and-sour but was also missing some of the gas I was expecting.

Effects

This invigorating sativa-dominant hybrid hit me fast and went straight to my head. I felt an immediate uplift in my mood and a clear-headed, energizing buzz that had me totally ready to tackle my afternoon to-do list. It was a very functional, get things done kind of high that kept me focused and elevated.

Final Thoughts

Redemption really knocked it out of the park with this drop. This heavy-hitting sativa doesn’t compromise on flavor, and is seriously a fantastic choice for my first time trying them. The sweet, fruity, and gassy terpene profile combined with that potent, uplifting daytime high easily earned this batch the Certified Stoners Stamp of Approval. Next time you are at Dispensary Works, I highly recommend grabbing a bag of this to jumpstart your day!
