First Impressions

Kind Tree has been on a roll lately, their quality has consistently been top notch which always results in a great smoking joint once I roll it up. I knew I had to grab a bag of this when I saw this Baked Alaska at The Apothecarium in Nottingham, Maryland. I knew once I opened this one up that it was going to be something special, but let’s smoke this doink and see how it smokes… Cheers!

Genetics and Terpenes

The Baked Alaska strain is indica dominant and the result of crossing Wedding Cake x Kush Mintz x E85 x Zoap. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and limonene. This batch is 2.32% in total terpenes.

Looks and Structure

These sparkling nugs are really pretty and are mainly purple with green sugar leaves. The trichomes are amber, clear and cloudy and there's some orange pistils but not too many. They also have a good size and weight to them too.

Scent

The aroma is very unique and complex and I feel like I can pull traits from each parent. It’s cakey and sweet like Wedding Cake, its got some funk to it like Zoap and Kush Mintz, and even some candy aromas coming through that comes from the E85.

Taste

The flavor is smooth and sweet with the profile leaning more towards the Kush Mintz in my opinion with a slight funky mintyness.

Effects

As soon as I sparked up this joint, the high started entirely in my head. I felt a really nice, spacey cerebral uplift and had my mind wandering in the best way possible. As the session went on, those heady effects smoothly transitioned into a deep, calming body melt. It provided the exact kind of physical relaxation I look for when I want to wind down an evening without immediately falling asleep on the couch. I felt beautifully balanced and completely chilled out, though I do have to warn you—this one definitely gave me a serious case of the munchies shortly after! Overall, it was the perfect companion for a creative escape and a mellow evening session

Final Thoughts

Overall, I walked away from this session incredibly impressed with what Kind Tree put together. Baked Alaska didn't just look and smell amazing; it delivered a genuinely fantastic experience from the first hit to the final comedown. It immediately became my new go-to for late-night chilling out with some snacks. I really appreciated how they managed to pack so much unique character into one jar. It was deliciously potent, and it easily earned a very enthusiastic Certified Stoners Stamp of Approval from me, be sure to check this one out from The Apothecarium!
