First Impressions
I didn't actually walk into AYR Dispensary with a specific target in mind, but when the budtender showed me Kynd’s recent drop of Dolato, it was an immediate sale. Anytime you cross heavyweights like Do-Si-Dos and Gelato #41, I know I’m in for a quality session, but the sheer bag appeal on this eighth was the first thing I noticed when I got home. Time to get this photographed and rolled up into a nice doink… Cheers!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Dolato strain is indica leaning and a result of crossing the Do-Si-Dos and Gelato #41strains. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and myrcene. This batch is 2.26% in total terpenes.
Looks and Structure
Once I got this photographed it confirmed my suspicion, this is caked out in big headed cloudy and clear trichomes. This flower is visually stunning, They boast a deep, fern green base that has an almost blue, velvet-purple mixed in.
Scent
It's predominantly sweet and earthy right out of the bag with some creamy cakiness.
Taste
The flavor translates wonderfully from the nose and is incredibly smooth. The inhale brings a sugary, sweet berry taste mixed directly with that fresh pine. On the exhale, the sweetness mellows out nicely, leaving a lightly spicy and earthy finish.
Effects
When I'm looking to kick back and decompress without immediately passing out, this is exactly the lane I want to be in.
