The Gary Payton strain is 80/20 indica dominant and is the result of crossing The Y Life and Snowman. The dominant terps are limonene and b-caryophyllene. This batch is 2.44% in total terpenes.
Looks and Structure
These nugs look fantastic and it's no doubt in my mind that their SOPs are the reason for that. Hand-trimmed flower grown in organic living soil should look better and this is the quality I expect from a top tier brand. The nugs are a beautiful green color, completely covered in clear, milky and amber trichomes with nice orange pistils going in every direction.
Scent
The initial blast was a bold, pungent nose of petroleum gas that practically cleared my sinuses. But right underneath that heavy fuel, there were these surprisingly sweet, comforting milk-and-cookie undertones that perfectly balanced out the aggression of the gas.
Taste
When I finally sparked it up, the flavor translation was phenomenal. The smoke was remarkably thick, coating my palate with a savory mix of peppery spice and creamy sweet dough. As I exhaled, the profile evolved beautifully, leaving behind a cool hint of menthol that tied the whole complex flavor together.
