First Impressions
After an extremely fun, but exhausting week of 4/20 festivities we finally got some time to sit down with this Jersey Boof after I took a short T-break. I always take a few days off while I spend some time with my daughter, but after a good mental and tolerance reset I couldn't be more excited to get into this bag. It’s a phenotype of Super Boof, which is easily one of my favorite strains so I’m excited to see how Glass Meadows puts their Jersey twist on it. We grabbed this half ounce bag at NAR Cannabis in Mt. Genetics and Terpenes
The Jersey Boof strain is an evenly balanced hybrid. It’s a Super Boof phenotype that is a result of crossing Black Cherry Punch and Tropicana Cookies. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and limonene. This batch is 1.58% in total terpenes.
Looks and Structure
This Jersey Boof had tons of trichome heads and pistils, they were the first things I noticed. The buds themselves are longer finger shaped and have a fresh green color.
Scent
The aroma is smelling like some proper Super Boof with an overall orange profile. It has some other berry and fruity notes but it's definitely overwhelmed by the familiar orange.
Taste
The taste follows through with a tangy orange hits, but as I exhaled, I was pleasantly surprised by a rush of sweetness.
Effects
I quickly found myself feeling incredibly happy, uplifted, and super giggly. I felt a sudden wave of energetic focus and creativity that completely wiped away my lingering mental exhaustion from the long holiday week. But as my mind soared and stayed engaged, my stomach had other ideas. The munchies hit in full swing making me focus mainly on feeding my stomach, which seemed to be a black hole. This really proved to be great for any time of the day, but I could see how it’s really useful right before a meal.
Final Thoughts
Glass Meadows absolutely nailed their interpretation of this phenotype, they captured everything I already adored about Super Boof but Jersey Boof is just better because it's from New Jersey!
