If you remember our review from a few weeks ago, Glass Meadows completely blew me away with their cut of Jersey Boof. Since it’s such a standout phenotype of Super Boof, I’ve been eagerly waiting to dive into this jar to see how that unique profile translates to a solventless extract. When I spotted that their extraction line, Rosin King, dropped this batch at A21 Wellness Dispensary, it was an absolute no-brainer. Let's drop a glob into my banger and see if this hash hits as hard as the flower did… Cheers!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Jersey Boof strain is an evenly balanced hybrid. It’s a Super Boof phenotype that is a result of crossing Black Cherry Punch and Tropicana Cookies. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and myrcene. This batch is 6.15% in total terpenes.
Looks and Consistency
The layer of terps that settled on top as the jar sat has a nice golden hue to it but once agitated this rosin gleamed. It's got a beautiful color and I love how the terps pool up around the edge of the jar in the agitated picture.
Scent
If you remember our review of the Glass Meadows flower, you know how amazing this strain smells, but this rosin wash takes it to a whole new level. It’s exploding with dank orange aromas but has this really nice sweetness to it that settled in my nose.
Taste
On the inhale, my mouth was coated with the expected, dank citrus. It's not overwhelmingly orangey but the super boof flavor is definitely there and really flavorful. This one lingered around in my mouth for a while.
Effects
Jersey Boof hit me with an absolute massive rush of bright, cerebral energy. My mind was instantly dialed in, wildly creative, and buzzing with an intense, giggly euphoria that never failed to put me in a great mood! I found it great for playing some video games or even working on photography. This is one of those strains that just clicks with me, my endocannabinoid system seems to love its effects.
Final Thoughts
Rosin King did a phenomenal job with this extraction! While the Glass Meadows flower was already a massive hit for us, this live rosin beautifully highlights that unique terpene profile into an incredibly potent, flavor-packed dab. It is an absolutely perfect tasting treat for when I want something that is going to dial me in but still give me some strong effects.
